Hands down the best ramen I’ve had so far! It’s different from the ones I’ve tried here in Toronto and even in Japan, it has its own unique flavor that really stands out. The broth was just right, not too strong and not too bland, it’s perfectly balanced. Everything about it just hit the spot. Can’t wait to come back here!!!! I highly recommend this!

The Okinawa ramen was really tasty, though the tonkotsu ramen wasn’t as rich as I expected. The fried chicken was excellent, crispy and full of flavor. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Congratulations to Tondou Ramen for 7th anniversary. This is my favourite place to Japanese ramen (esp. for Okinawa style). This is the one I am willing drive there for meal 4-5 times a month. The atmosphere is very good. You feel like traveling to Okinawa.. Thanks for the great luck having 2 big prize in the lucky draw. I win a 2 packs of frozen cha-siu. Their cha-siu is amazing. It feels like smelting in your mouth and full mouth of favor. I always order special ramen which have 6 pieces of cha-siu and cha-sou don. I am 100% recommend this for any Ramen lovers.

My favourite ramen in Toronto so far and I’ve tried almost all of them only comparable one would be Isshin but this Okinawa style is just tooo good! The owner Koda is super kind and attends his customers as if they’re family even if it’s your first time there. The beers are ice cold and the Nanban Karaage is a must try as well! The star of the show is the Tonkotsu Special for 21 it brings 6 pieces of cha shu that melts in your mouth and honestly just come try and let the soup do the talking. Atmosphere is immaculate too! Looks like an izakaya or ramen shop pulled straight from Japan and imported to Toronto! Brought 3 people here and they all loved it. Best of success Koda!

First time trying Tondou and it was pretty good! I didn’t expect the extra space in the back, which was a nice surprise. The karaage was super crispy and tasty. The spicy tonkotsu ramen wasn’t spicy and could use a bit more flavor, but they give a lot of noodles. The yuzu cheesecake was really good too. I’d come back again since it’s just in my neigborhood.

I was so happy to dine somewhere with great food, service, and atmosphere all in one. I had the Okinawan lunch option that came with gyoza. The noodles were very filling and tasty. I appreciated the attentive host/waiter, he let me know that the owner is originally from Okinawa; I'm sure the customers can really tell by the super cool Japanese decor, there's a lot of heart and pride in it!

I recently visited a Tondou Ramen restaurant and tried a few dishes that left a great impression. For the appetizer, I ordered the Korokke, which was part of their newly launched menu. Unlike the original version, this one came with a new sauce that had a mildly spicy kick. The flavor was delicious and a great start to the meal. For the main dishes, I ordered two items. The first was the Tonkotsu Ramen, a rich pork bone broth served with a boiled egg. The overall flavor was excellent. However, I found the ramen noodles slightly too firm for my personal taste as I prefer noodles that are neither too hard nor too soft. The soup had a nice balance of spiciness, which I really enjoyed. The second dish was the Okinawa Soba, a chicken-based ramen served with pork chashu. Similar to the first dish, the noodles were a bit too firm for me, but the broth had a pleasant flavor. Overall, this restaurant serves tasty ramen in a clean and welcoming environment. The interior is decorated in a traditional Japanese style, adding to the authentic dining experience.

One of my fave ramen spots in the city! I always go for the Okinawan Soba - light, but flavours broth, paired thick, bouncy noodles, and the softest meat on top. The Karaage was also a great portion size, perfectly fried, and the chicken was still juicy. Paired with a cold beer on their patio, this place is the perfect summer spot.
